Therefore i believe using this concept will make my action/comedy film effective and exciting as this research below will tell me that it will appeal to a younger audience to middle-aged males as it is young and funky which we can relate to our generation now which violence and action is seen upon excting and thrilling. Therefore this is a good comparison to judge to as it is well-know action comedy films that have highly done successful and has taken interest by 15-30 where "street smart" is a factor to work on to engange with the target audience.

So to present my series of programmes i have used the idea and plot of Rush Hour and Bad Boys so people understand what it is about and a series would make it more intersting as they see more of it. So to broadcrast my series i would have either E4 or ITV. Firstly E stands for Entertainment in E4 as it is part of channel 4. This would be a relevant channel production to broadcrast my show as it is entertaining and the audience is for young adults to middle aged.Here is my research on the target audience E4 appeal to. E4 is the entertainment destination for a cutting edge young audience

  • E4 and E4 +1's Share of Commercial Impacts holds steady very strong for 16-34s. Furthermore within its competitive set E4 is the top converting channel for Adults 16-34, Women 16-34 and ABC1 16-34s.

  • Through research, we know that E4 viewers are predominantly young and upmarket, but theyre also fashion conscious, sociable, connected, heavy internet users, they love going out and tend to use advertising as one of their many information sources. They are also likely to be opinion formers and more likely to talk about brands and convince them to try them out.

  • E4 and E4+1 reach over 8.9m people each month. On top of this it has a young and upmarket viewing profile, with; 52% of viewers 16-34 

  • As you can see 52% is between the target audience im trying to appeal to so this is very appropriate as majority of people who watch E4 watch programmes such as misfits which is a very popular programme that entices younger viewers especially as it is about young adults so the generation present now feel more involved watching a programme about teenagers or young adults as they feel they can connect towards them.
